As a market leader GKD have a wide range of tools at their disposal and can supply cut and finish products for every application. GKD discs are extremely clean and precisely dimensioned. When used in critical applications, our products are put through a range of cleaning procedures. This guarantees maximum operational continuity for the user. GKD's production program includes: Spot welded, multi-layer disks, single layer discs, rectangular filters, kidney-shaped filters, and oval filters with and without frames. GKD Auto screens continuous extrusion machines are equipped with made to measure filter belts. GKD weave (5) different filter cloths with apertures ranging from 55 µm up to 500 µm. GKD’s KPZ Microdur weaving pattern gives superior stability and ensure trouble-free operation. All GKD filter belts are free from contaminants as they are periodically cleaned during the manufacturing process.   Filter Cartridges are the basis for continuous filtration of polymer melts. GKD supply replacement cartridges for all standard filters including Fuji and Barmag. GKD’s range also includes pleated elements, also using metal fibre felts as filter media, can be supplied. GKD can also provide replacement elements made of sintered wire mesh laminates (GEKUPLATE) as tubes with a diameter of 14 mm in the required lengths and filter grades.
